Get ready to launch 2025-2026
Dallas ISD is turning up the energy for an unforgettable start to the school year. On Thursday, Aug. 7, Legacy Launch—a districtwide kickoff celebration uniting all team members—will ignite the new year with purpose, pride, and momentum.
Celebrations at Ellis Davis and Alfred J. Loos field houses will set the tone for a day filled with surprises and school spirit. Regions will attend the celebrations either in the morning or the afternoon based on the schedule below. Some central departments will hold their own celebrations, while team members at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building will attend an afternoon session at Loos Field House.
Come for the mission, stay for the music
This year’s Legacy Launch will feature more than just inspiration. Free giveaways, live DJs, and high-energy moments will keep the celebration going. Without sharing too many details, you’ll want to have your fans ready (clacks will be courtesy of Dallas ISD), and of course, line dancing will be highly encouraged.
Event Schedule
Ellis Davis Field House
9 a.m.
- Region 3: Davis W. Carter, Justin F. Kimball, Lincoln, James Madison, and Skyline vertical teams
- Region 4: W.H. Adamson, Moisés E. Molina, and Sunset vertical teams

- Region 1: W.W. Samuell, Seagoville, and H. Grady Spruce vertical teams

Alfred J. Loos Field House

- Region 5: Bryan Adams, Emmett J. Conrad, Woodrow Wilson, and Hillcrest vertical teams
- Region 6: W.T. White, North Dallas, and Thomas Jefferson vertical teams

Parking
Because parking is limited at the field houses, shuttle service will be provided from designated satellite parking locations. Details on these locations will be provided closer to the event.
Fewer cars lead to more fun and a small treat for doing good, so to help reduce traffic, the district is encouraging car pooling and offering a small incentive for those who do.
